It was a bit surprising for me to climb the step of the stage during the ANFM Gala Dinner to receiving this prize. ANFM is the Italian Wedding Photographer Association, so we’re speaking about a National Contest. Anyway I’m super-happy for this prize because this kind of competition recognizes the most creative and outstanding FULL WORKS. I usually don’t care about the “single photo” contests, because when I’m working on the field my main goal is to immerse myself in a story, trying to understand the characters and their feelings (while not becoming one of them, of course). And to be focused on the storytelling of THIS story rather than on some single “WOW” picture. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve a lot of friends and colleagues that are able to collect dozens of stunning photos for each wedding and whose works I love (and that I ENVY, sometimes!), this is just the way I prefer to work.
But before to move forward and see the awarded album, I want to say a huge thank you to all the ANFM executive staff (with a special big big hug to Marco Miglianti) and to the contest judges for the amazing job they did in those days.
All that said, finally here following you can see my Award Winning Fine Art Italian Wedding Album… Rock ‘n Roll, Dudes!
Congratulations on this fantastic piece of art, one of the most amazing wedding albums I’ve ever seen! It has become a huge inspiration, mostly because I feel like I lack good and elegant ideas a lot when making mine.
All the very best and many cheers from Brasil!
