Authentic, timeless photography for weddings in Italy
For those of you who landed here by chance, I’m Francesco, an Italian wedding photographer based in Tuscany who works throughout Italy and sometimes abroad.
Planning a destination wedding in Italy is more than just organizing a big day somewhere beautiful — it’s about creating an experience that feels deeply yours, in a place full of soul and sunlight. And as an Italian wedding photographer who’s lived his whole life in Italy, I’m here to make that experience feel as effortless and relaxed as it should be.
My approach to wedding photography blends an editorial eye with a laid-back, unposed energy. I’m not interested in stiff poses or staged moments. I want to document how it feels, not just how it looks — the warmth in a glance, the quiet squeeze of a hand, the light that moves through the trees as you say your vows. It’s about creating a collection of memories that feel both modern and timeless, suspended between uniqueness and intimacy, all touched by a soft sense of nostalgia you’ll carry with you for years.
I’m totally flexible and relaxed, that usually helps quite a lot! I typically break the ice quickly, and my goal is always to make you feel at ease with me and my cameras while I focus on your unique story. This is the most honest way to collect your true essence as a couple, and it should make the whole experience effortless for you. I like to say I’m a “natural vibe seeker” — as I treat every shoot like a one-of-a-kind experiment. And I promise, it will be as easy and fun as walking hand in hand into the sunset.
And if you’re dreaming of your wedding in Italy, here’s a small tip that might help: having someone local by your side can quietly make everything feel smoother and more connected. Someone who speaks the language, knows the customs, and understands the rhythm of each season — and maybe even knows a few hidden corners that aren’t on the usual wedding radar. Over the years, I’ve worked with more than 400 international couples — for weddings, elopements, portraits, and family sessions — and I’ve seen how much of a difference it makes to have someone who not only lives here but truly gets what you’re trying to create. I’m fluent in English, always available beyond “Italian hours,” and happy to help bridge the gap with trusted local vendors, especially when language might otherwise get in the way. It’s all part of making sure your destination wedding in Italy feels relaxed, effortless, and deeply yours.
Whether you’re planning a grand celebration or a spontaneous elopement, take a moment to explore my works below. If it resonates, I’d be honored to help shape the memories you’ll carry with you for the rest of your life.
Curious to know more or just want to say hi? Feel free to reach out — no pressure, no expectations. I’m here to help, answer any questions, or simply hear about your ideas! 🙂
Love, Fra
