Hey there! In this new post, I’d like to tell (and show, of course) you about a magical, intimate winter wedding in Florence that I had the pleasure of photographing this last winter. Amelia and Harrison, the beautiful couple from Florida you’re going to see in the coming photographs, decided to celebrate their wedding on the last day of the year – with just their closest family and friends – in a stunning ancient villa with a charming, cozy vibe that’s located in the picturesque in the immediate countryside next to Florence. It must be said that the whole scene felt like it was straight out of a fairytale, especially thanks to the unpredictable warm temperature and that little bit of sun that allowed them to hold their symbolic ceremony outdoors in the typical Italian garden. As I wandered through the villa’s garden, cameras in hand, I couldn’t help but be captivated by the moment’s beauty. The crisp winter air, the soft glow of the setting sun, and the laughter of loved ones coming together to witness the marriage of these two guys were indeed a sight to behold. Amelia looked absolutely stunning in her vintage-inspired two-piece wedding dress, and Harrison was dashing in his tuxedo and bowtie. Their styles complemented each other perfectly, highlighting the depth of their connection and the true uniqueness of their love story. As I snapped away, after capturing every smile, every shared glance, and every tender moment between these two and their friends and families of this intimate winter wedding in Florence, I was thankful to have taken part in such a special day. Even more than once, I thought that I couldn’t desire a better end to close this wedding season. Moments like these make me realize the true power of photography – and the satisfaction that this work gives me every single time.
