I know that it could be boring to read always about wedding. Luckily this is not one of those cases! Today I want to tell you the story of this California road trip I did in April with my wife Daniela. We got the opportunity to do this journey together while I where in Cali to shoot a wedding, for a couple of guys I meet in Florence last year (curious about how things have gone? Have a look at their Engagement in Florence and their Los Angeles wedding!). Also, it was the first time we traveled alone again, since her first pregnancy (8 years ago!).
We flew from Florence to San Francinsco, where we rented a Ford Mustang (it’s a classic I think, like renting Piaggio Vespa or Fiat Cinquecento in Italy) to drive down to Los Angeles along the coast. We didn’t have the kind of weather we were expecting for but we didn’t give up to drive with the roof top down on the 17-Mile Drive!
We spent some amazing days together – just the two of us- enjoying our time and space, like it didn’t happen from a very log time. We where missing the kids of course, but it was something magical to be alone few days. We also found the time to had a “love photography session” with Gina & Ryan, two awesome fellow photographer we met there in Malibù. (if you’re searching for somebody in CA to shoot your wedding – and if I’m already hired, of course! – have a look at their amazing work).
