It’s hard to describe what a beautiful and magical place Borgo Stomennano is to host a wedding, and words just don’t do justice to the magnificence of this estate located in the Tuscan countryside; also, it’s really close to Siena and just 45 minutes far from Florence. I’ve been really pleased that Shannon and Andrew decided to carry me on the boat of their wedding at Borgo Stomennano to be the photographer of such a timeless day.
Something about this awesome place: the main villa has its origins in 17th Century but fully restored and with the comfort of the modern era. There are also a lot of apartments (a bit more modern, I must say) and an “infinity” swimming pool with a breathtaking background made by the Tuscan hills and the Villa’s vineyards. To complete the beauty of Borgo Stomennano, nothing could be better than the setting chosen by Chiara form Weddings in Tuscany, with an elegant rustic-chic flavor that has been the perfect complement to that day. I think it reflected pretty well Shannon and Andrew, as I know them: we met one year ago in Florence and they immediatly gave me the impression of two relaxed guys with good taste for beautiful-but-simple things, not really classic and not too much luxurious. Als,o on the wedding day any kind of stress didn’t break the relaxed atmosphere. And they made me feel like at home, in a big new cozy family. Working in Borgo Spomennano as wedding photographer is always like being in a painting. I don’t know if I’m a good enough as painter to describe the beauty of that place so I’ll try with my pictures. Enjoy the awesomeness of such a magical venue!
